Crown and Title Holder

The 83rd Miss Globe Beauty Pageant was held between 09.00 and 24:00 on September 14, 2007 at the Culture Palace located in the capital of Albania, Tirana. Contesting on behalf of Brazil, 18-year-old Miss Helen Cristina Alves Da Silva became the crown and titleholder of the 83rd Miss Globe. Miss Helen Cristina Alves Da Silva was crowned by the previous year’s Miss Globe International crown and titleholder Viviana Lisbeth Ramos Puma from Venezuela.

The new Miss Globe Beauty Queen was awarded three more crowns. She was granted those crowns because of her attributes. The said attributes were explained as follows. She was deemed worthy of the title “Miss Sympathy” owing to her sympathetic attitude in her relationship with her friends during the training period and in her visits toward the public, the title of “Miss Talent” owing to the lambada dance she performed, and the title of “Miss Globe Inter-Continental” owing to her knowledge of English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

Helen Cristina Alves Da Silva is studying law in her country and is 18-year-old. She is 1.78 tall and 52 kilograms. Besides, she has a wonderful body form thanks to her body sizes of 90-60-90. For the purpose of taking part in the Miss Globe Grand Final, she had contested in the Miss Globe Brazil National Beauty Pageant on behalf of Porto Velho /Rodonia.

As the Miss Globe 2007 crown and titleholder, Miss Helen Cristina Alves Da Silva made the following statement after the contest: “It has been great for me to meet the girls coming here from other countries and to spend time together. Each of us had many dreams while coming here. We have come for the purpose of representing our countries and receiving the Miss Globe award. I had never taken part in such an international contest before. It is a significant event for me. It is not possible for me not to get excited. The second point is that it is the biggest contest of the world, Miss Globe, which is a different feature. Brazilian girls have been awarded many crowns in international contests for a long time. Here, they ask me the reason. It is difficult to answer because different types of people live in my country from the North and Northeast to the South. None of them looks like each other. Thus, my luck was that the girls who came here as the delegates of other countries were mostly blond. It looks like I might have attracted the jury members’ attention because I stood out from the blonde or brown haired girls, who are striking at first sight, with my interracial looks and stance. Other awards were granted for the categories of talent, foreign language knowledge and sympathy. I have learned a few words of Albanian during the time I spent there and addressed the audience in Albanian. It enabled me to win the audience’s hearts. Thanks to this crown, I have taken the opportunity to sign deals with some international clubs in my country. In Europe and Brazil, I will have some advantages in TV series and cinema because of my previous theatre education in addition to studying law. I am a professional actress. I acted the role of Paula with Alessendra Negrini in the series of Tropical Paradise that were shot in Rondoria. It is of vital importance to take solid steps. Thus, I am trying to climb the stairs of show business without getting tired.”

Comprising of international members, the Grand Jury granted the title and honor of First Maid of Honor to the delegate of Estonia, Miss Monika Pensa, and the title and honor of Second Maid of Honor to the delegate of Belarus, Miss Sveta Lagonda. In the contest, the delegate of Albania, Miss Enkelejda Bargjo, was the third runner-up and the delegate of Czech Republic, Miss Zuzana Putnarova,  was the forth runner-up.

In Albania, other events were held with the participation of the delegates from other countries and 8 different titles were granted.  Those titles are respectively as follows; the title of Miss Friendship to Miss Shenna Aperocho from Canada, the title of Best National Costume to Miss Tania Maria Dominiczky from Paraguay, the title of Miss All Nations to Miss Carmin Martinez Marrero from Venezuela, the title of Miss Cosmopolitan to Miss Vanya Krasteva from Bulgaria, the title of Miss Dream Girl  to Miss Enkelejda Bargjo from Albania, the title of Miss International  to Miss Katarina Jurkovic from Slovenia and the title of Miss Golden Girl  to Miss Joanna Guz from Poland.
